Countdown to Christmas 2015

Hi All,
Christmas is, yet again, almost here! This page will be updated daily and each day will have a different tip or trick to help you prepare for the 25th of December! Some ideas for this countdown have come from this website;

24 Days to go
The 1st of December- this day always seems to creep up on me and I am almost never ready for it. Today you should decorate something! It can be anything you want. Decorating something helps get you ready for the festive season and everyday when you see what you have decorated it makes you excited all over again!

23 Days to go
The 2nd of December- it is now beginning to settle in- how much you have to do in the next 24 days! Today we want you to make a list. A list of things you have to buy before Christmas, this way if you still haven't decided what to get someone you can spend some time thinking about it and still get the present before the Christmas Eve rush.

22 Days to go
The 3rd of December- Today you should do something nice for someone. Saying one nice thing can completely change someone's day and make the festive season much better for them.

21 Days to go.
The 4th of December- Create your own wrapping paper!
Simply find a piece of large paper (butchers paper works well) and cover it with decorations!

20 Days to go.                                                                                                                                       The 5th of December- Create your Christmas wish list. List all the thing you would like to receive this year and decorate (I used Washi tape but you could draw, use colours or create a special border.)

19 Days to go                                                                                                                                        The 6th of December- Buy a gift for the giving tree. The giving tree helps those who cannot afford to have the Christmas we have. Buying something, even something simple, can make a huge difference to these peoples Christmas.

18 Days to go                                                                                                                                        The 7th of December- Bake a Christmas themed treat! Simply find your favourite biscuit or cake recipe and put some kind of a Christmas twist on it.

6 Days to Go-
The 19th of December. Christmas is coming really quickly now and with it is coming the sweltering heat (If you are in the southern hemisphere). Today take the time to create a refreshing drink. Perhaps an infused water or a Christmas themed smoothie? If you live where it is currently cold you could make yourself a warm drink to get you through the cold winter days.

4 Days to go-
The 21st of December- Less than a working week to go now, everyone is getting really excited. Amongst all the Christmas shopping and preparation it can be really hard to find the time to relax so today we want you to take 10 or 15 minutes and just do something for you, you could read a book, do some colouring or even watch some TV.

The 24th of December- hopefully the rush is over and you have bought all your gifts by now, make sure you have them all wrapped and under the tree. Tonight go for a drive or a walk and look at all the colourful Christmas lights that cover the houses. Don't forget to put out your Christmas stockings and a treat for Santa and the reindeer. Merry Christmas...
