DIY- Washi tape bunting

Hi There, This is the first of our DIY posts and it is probably one of the best. Washi tape bunting is an adorable way to decorate your room or make super cute cards. For those of you who do not know Washi tape is a Japanese decorative tape, it comes in many different styles and colours.

What you will need
2x different colours of Washi tape (you can use as many as you like)
30cm of string
Scissors
Ruler
Texta

How to
1. Lay out the 30cm of string in a straight line (so that there are no bumps) and mark out 6 spots on the string with a texta that are evenly spaced across the string

2. Cut 4 cm of washi tape out of your first colour and stick it so that the texta mark is in the center of the tape, make sure you make it even and have 2cm hanging on each side to make the bunting even.

3. Repeat step 2 for the remainder of your marks, alternating the colours of washi tape.

4. Cut the ends of the washi tape to neaten and you are finished.

Have you created any room décor with washi tape?
